2018年の英会話レッスン参加者申込み受付中

去年から始まった英会話レッスン、今年もやります! 色々な方に参加して頂けてJ先生も私もとても楽しかったです^^ 今年も英会話を通して世界、日本の色んなお話をきけるのを楽しみにしています。

12月の話では、1月9日からということでしたが、こちらの事情で2月からとなりました。

レッスンの概要

文法、単語、発音、英会話を総合的に学べるレッスンです。

  • レッスンは50分¥1,000。(+ホームワーク、テキスト代¥300)
  • 子どももレッスン中に子ども部屋のおもちゃで楽しめます🐢🐣🤹🏻‍♀️
  • 各回4人まで
  • 講師はTOEIC955のJ先生です
  • レッスンは全て英語で行われますが、日本人アシスタントもおりますので英語が苦手という人でも安心して参加して頂けます。

2月のトピック

初めての方は英語で簡単な自己紹介をして頂きます。もし、余裕があればトピックについてのお話も用意してきてください。当日先生や他の参加者から質問されるのに答えるだけでも大丈夫です。

2回目以降の方はトピックについて小話(簡単なスピーチ)を用意して、みんなで英語で話しましょう!

どんな話をしたらいいか考えるための質問を載せておきます。他の人がどんなことを知りたいと思っているか、どんな話をしたらいいか、英語でスピーチを考える時の参考にしてください。

2月14日(水)は「衣類、着る物」

Do you like shopping for new clothes? How often do you go shopping for clothes? Do you like to go shopping during the sales? 

Do you read fashion magazines? Do you watch fashion programs on TV?

What kind of clothes do you usually wear?

Where do you usually buy clothes?

Do you buy second-hand clothes? Why/why not?

Do you buy clothes on the Internet? Why/why not?

Do you often buy branded clothes? Why/why not?

How many pairs of shoes do you have? Do you often wear high heel shoes?

How often does the fashion change? Does the fashion come back over again?

Do you think that clothes reflect personality?

Is there any dress code in your job? Do you like it?

 

ABOUT JAPAN and JAPANESE CULTURE & CLOTHING

What traditional clothes do people wear in your country? When do you wear them? Are they comfortable?

Do people in Japan have a reputation for dressing well or badly?

Do you think women pay more attention to their appearance than men, or vice versa?

Are people generally very fashion conscious?

What is in fashion at the moment for men and women?

What are the current ‘tribes’ of young people? What do they wear? Do you like the way they dress?

Are there any celebrities in Japan who dress in a very eccentric way? What do you think of them?

Do people tend to judge others by the way they dress?

Do you think you dress like a typical person? Why (not)?

2月20日(火)は「ボディーランゲージ」

It may surprise you to know there are close to 100 different gestures regularly used by Japanese people to communicate with friends, colleagues and the general public. While most of those used by Western countries are considered unusual, the Japanese rely on hand gestures to communicate everything from basic requests to expressing emotion and personal preferences.For example: Crossed arms (だめ), Pointing to yourself (私). Let’s learn more gestures from the students!

  • Why do you think body language is important?
  • How do you use body language in your daily life?
  • How does body language help you to communicate?
  • How does your native culture (Japan) use body language?

What kind of body language do you use at school? What are some examples of body language that boys use? Women? Boys? Girls? Children?

  • What actions are threatening?
  • What actions are friendly?
  • What actions are not allowed?
  • How can you misinterpret someone’s body language?
  • Do you try to use body language when you communicate in English?

先生の発表 「わたしの国でみんながやっている10のジェスチャーを紹介します。」 A large part of my country population are descendants of Italian immigrants, who came to the country during the late 1800s and early 1900s. You can see the Italian influences in many aspects of the culture, especially when it comes to how they communicate. Italians are known for speaking with their hands, and this habit has passed onto their descendants.

2月27日(火)は「眠りと夢」

Have you ever stayed up all night?

Do you take or have you ever taken sleeping pills? Did they work?

Do you often have nightmares or recurring dreams?

Do you sometimes have problems getting to sleep? What do you do?

Is there any food or drink that keeps you awake, or that stops you from sleeping well?

Have you ever fallen asleep at an embarrassing moment, for example during class?

Have you ever sleepwalked or do you know anyone who sleepwalks?

Do you sleep with a duvet or blankets? How many pillows do you like to have?

Do you snore? Have you ever had to share a room with someone who snores? Was this a problem?

Have you ever overslept and missed something important?

Are you a light sleeper or do you sleep like a log?

Have you ever been jet-lagged? Where were you going? How long did it take you to recover?

Do you remember a time or place where you slept very badly? Why?
