Old meets new in Toyota — just a short walk from the station.
Toyota is famous for cars. But with 2–3 hours and no car, you can walk from Toyotashi Station (豊田市駅) to a Shinto shrine, a Noh theatre, striking modern architecture and the riverside. You don’t need to speak Japanese.
No Japanese? No problem. 日本語がわからなくても大丈夫
Every place has a big “Show in Japanese” button. Tap it, and your phone shows the place name and “Where is…?” in large Japanese text. Just hold it up to someone nearby or to station staff.
