Welcome to my blog! Thanks for stopping by.
I’m a mother of two and living in Toyota city.
My hobbies are reading, watching dramas on Netflix and cooking.
I was born in Tokyo and grew up in Chiba. I was a child who loved to visit unknown places. When I was a freshman in high school, I studied abroad for a year in Chile, South America.
When I got married with my husband who works in Toyota city, I moved to Aichi.
Why did I start blogging?
When I came to Aichi Prefecture, I didn’t know anyone other than my husband. I was very lonely because I was alone with my child every day. There was not much information on the Internet at that time, and I didn’t know where the hospitals and parks were.
I thought that if I started volunteering in a foreign language, I would be able to make friends, so I started volunteering with my 7-month-old daughter at a Japanese language class at a facility in Toyota City called TIA.
We were treated very kindly by both the Japanese volunteers and the foreign students. At that time, I met foreign mothers and fathers, and they asked me many questions about raising children in Japan and information about life in Toyota City.
Coming from the Kanto region, I felt very lonely, but I was impressed by the fact that foreign fathers and mothers are working hard to raise their children while facing even more difficulties.
“I hope no one feels lonely when they come to Toyota City. It would be great if everyone could enjoy raising children.
Now that my children are a little older, I have more time.
Toyotano.com and Toyota-International.com
First of all, I made a parenting blog in Toyota City in Japanese. I write about nursing rooms, playgrounds, free events, and information I want to reach families with young children.
And from the spring of 2023, I would like to post information for foreign families on Toyota-International.com.
